Wednesday, April 23, 2008 School nowadays feels really weird. I seriously dun feel like im learning anything much, which is definately not a good thing. Most of the time i have this spaced out feeling. Haha and i look forward to end of school so that i can actually see familiar people, still missing anderson. On the bright side, some modules are actually quite interesting. (: Without a doubt, they do not include modules like economics/statistics/accounts. Those are just really boring, especially economics. Yah and in tutorial classes we basically spend most of the time doing our own stuff on our laptops. It's not helping that im broke, totally and utterly broke. I blame all my friends, we spend too much pigging out together. Haha but without them i would have no motivation to get through the day, so im not really complaining. =DD We really should consider eating at cheaper places next time though. (; right lyana? LOL. Maybe next time we should switch to having dinner at coffee shop or something. I mean, most important it's the company, no? =D Haha for now, i shall try to psycho someone to sponser me, starting with sister. genius. signing off, viting
Saturday, April 19, 2008 Speech day yesterday was awesome! Yup simply because it was an anderson affair. Haha i like the sound of it, anderson affair. (: I wish my life would be filled with loads and loads of anderson affairs. I rushed down to amk macdonalds after lecture and met up with the 2-4 people plus some our random people. Hahaha and we made our way to school, super happy to see the school and everyone again. =D Everything felt so familiar and it was like a home, a family. I MISS ANDERSON SO MUCH IT HURTS! (i know i said this a thousand times but still!!) I love anderson right down to their last bamboo in front of the general office. xD At the end when we did the anderson cheer and my heart literally swelled with pride. Im sure im not the only one who felt that way as well. All of us cheered super loudly. =D I am really so proud to be an sndersonian. The school provided me with so many lovely experiences and made me who i am today. Seriously. Afterwards we went down to the canteen and talked to random people. Mrs Poh also came and asked us about our schools and how everything's getting along. She has always been, and still is, a great principal. Anyway so dawn and i told her about sp and how we feel so weird there. Yah, everyone's nice but i dun feel like i belong. It's a long story actually. Oh well, but im sure it will get better, three years and i'll be out anyway. (: Until then, i shall continue to learn how to like the school and try to do well in all my modules. Anderson was such a wonderful place and it sucks to move on, but that's life for you. Anyway after everything, we went to macdonalds(again) to hang out before heading home. We were partially emo-ing about how much we wish time would turn back to when we were still in anderson and stop there. Please! =( Haha i sound insane. I think im missing anderson till the point of insanity anyway. Life's such a drag now. It doesn't help that there's no more speech day to look forward to. Ahhh! How how how?!? Okay i should stop myself from feeling so lost without anderson. Dun be like this viting! *slaps self* You shall learn to accept this new chapter of your life and be happy about it. Monday, April 14, 2008 Last Saturday was anderson choir concert! Congratulations to anderson choir and alumini too. (: Huda was singing! Hahaha we wanted to buy a big bouquet of lilies for her at first, but we were all pathetically broke. Actually im not very sure about the others but i certainly was. Sadly. I had all but 50 cents left by the time we go head home at night. I can only say that it sucks to be broke. Yeah sucks, like vacuum. xD Hahaha! Anyway we went to gloria jeans to catch up before that. Told each other about all the weird/funny/nice things happening in school and people we met.   Haha i like this picture because the light above Lyana's head looks like those angel's crown thingy. Heh although she doesn't resemble an angel in anyway. (you know im kidding hahaha) =D    wahaha sorry hannah! I know i said i would not put this up but i could not resist! (: LOL it was like internal struggle between my sensitive and evil side. The evil side won eventually hee. Anyway we left for Victoria Concert Hall after our drinks. It was free seating so we did not want to be late. Haha below are some pictures we took along the way.      I took this, supposed to look artistic but actually it just looks lame.  I look like a guy(with a big face) in this photo la! Haha but who cares. (:  Yup and with that, we reached Victoria Concert Hall. Dawn and Luke joined us afterwards. Saw quite alot of juniors and alot of people from our cohort as well. Sigh sigh i miss anderson life sooo much!  I like this picture! Very artistic! Haha although it makes us look like monsters.  Their finale item was so cute! :D After the concert, we when to the front and gave the flowers to Huda and Evelyn. There was one last flower left and we decided to give it to Subeer. He looked as lame as ever haha. Then we walked out and guess who we saw?!? Jiang Jing! Ohmygod i was so surprised, i thought i would never get to see her again. Haha anyway shes this china scholar from our class. She's smart, genius in fact. I bet she never failed any subject in her life. Wait, correction, she never gotten less than straight As for any subject in her life! Haha we used to always depend on the scholars for help, they were great though. (: We ended the night with supper at macdonalds. I had loads of fun that day. :D Once an andersonian, always an andersonian. I will always remember the wonderful times spent in anderson. It was really more than just a school to me, it was a home. We were really a family and i felt like i belonged no matter which part of the school i went to. No matter what mistakes i made, i know the school would not ignore me but still love me. Anderson Student Council was something i never regretted getting myself into. Admittedly, we were not the best leaders, but i made so many great friends there. Together, we created such memorable moments of laughter/tears/anger/satisfaction. Of course, netball is the cca i would join, even if you let me choose a million times. I miss everyone in the team, all our juniors, seniors and coach too! (: Aiya so sad please! Typing this is making me emo lol. Oh well, I shall just strive to do well in SP. You know, make the best of the situation. Haha everything will be alright once i get used to it. Everyone's nice and i will be doing something i enjoy anyway. (: Hope i made the right choice. P.S. I had four hours of break in school today! signing off, viting
Wednesday, April 9, 2008 Customer: waiter! what's the meaning of this fly in my mushroom soup? Waiter: sorry sir, im clueless. im a waiter, not a fortune teller. =DD Orientation for the past three days was alright. We already know our class, mine's DTRM07 and everyone there seems nice. (: I hope we can have a wonderful three years together. My eyebags are really bad for the past few days, especially when i wake up in the morning. It gets better only after cold teabags and throwing tons of ice over my eyes. Now my mum's complaining that im wasting good quality teabags. Hahaha then just now she bought me a huge box of teabags, those a dollar a box kind. Anyway tomorrow the whole of SP will be collecting donations for President's Challenge, it's our flag day. Please support if you chance upon any of us okay! It's all for a good cause anyway. (: Oh and i cut my hair, it's much shorter now. Yup hope it looks nice. You slowly walked away, I watched, speechless. I refuse to call you to turn back. it's wrong to be selfish, you deserve better. signing off, viting
Thursday, April 3, 2008 HAPPY BIRTHDAY SAMANTHA! =D Dawn and I crashed NYJC and surprised Samantha yesterday. Her expression when she saw us was priceless. (: It was not much of a challenge though, their school is not exactly very strict. We saw Candace and Jay again and talking to them makes me miss anderson yet again. I realise that there's a way to tell andersonians apart from others, they all seem to have this "anderson aura" that i am proud of. Anyway in our desperate attemps to save money, we ate at Macdonalds and KFC today. Hahaha the coffee bean doesn't really count, cause we only ordered drinks. Erm and a slice of chocolate cake but that doesn't count too, because i say so. =P At coffee bean, we has tons of fun remembering all the random things that happened in anderson. All of us had a good laugh. =DD As for today, Dawn and I went to SP in the morning to apply for scholarship. My application was unsuccessful though, because of some checklist which i didn't print. Yah and the deadline was over days ago. I was like extremely pissed of at myself la! Haha but thinking about it now, it's okay, im sure i would not have been shortlisted anyway. (: Afterwards we went down to NUS to have lunch and buy our laptop skins. On the way there, Dawn walked into a pole! LOL it was hilarious. It's a long story how she managed to walk into one so i shall not elaborate. Hahaha sorry dawn, i dun mean to laugh, but it was a teeny weeny bit retarded. (actually very retarded but im trying to be a good friend) Anyway I was like super indecisive when choosing my laptop skin, spent really long deciding between two. My final choice...  haha i was trying to take an artistic picture but failed terribly. this is the best one of the three.(although it makes my laptop look broken) xD Yah and now in back at home after meeting Samantha and Lyana at Gelare. Before I end and go sleep, I shall leave you guys with a very nice song. It is actually quite an old song but i never realised it is so nice until recently. Enjoy and goodnight! Tuesday, April 1, 2008 I am very happy now, for a couple of reasons. 1)it's a secret! =P 2)dawn, lyana and I met up just now and we ate at Gelare waffles with ice cream! (: haha yesyes it's definately worth getting happy over because the strawberry cheesecake plus the cookies and cream ice cream were simply lovely. oh and guess what guess what?!? i got it at 3 bucks less because the gelare guy serving us was new and blur, he keyed in the wrong amount. when i told him about it later though, he said it was okay. (: haha so lyana concluded that he is a blur but nice guy. 3)i bought a new album called golden drama. it's a compilation of theme songs from various mediacorp chinese dramas. listening to it now and all the songs are great. 4)my mum is cooking many many of my favourite dishes for dinner tonight! =D i think shes in a good mood haha. Anyway thomas just sent me something very cool, i was so amazed. Haha and it really works, try it people. I love this kind of thing because i think it's amusing and i can never understand the logic behind things like this. It's just a way our mind play tricks on us.  Have fun! Im going off for dinner!
