Friday, May 30, 2008 Somehow i always end up landing myself in some embarrassing situation like just now. I was walking down the stairs at the train station, happy with the world and all. I just decided to get myself coffee bean carrot cake that i love. So everything's great right? Wrong! At the last few steps, my slipper suddenly flew off and landed all the way at the bottom of the stairs. Haha so i tried to laugh it off and went down to pick it up only to slip and land on my butt. (!!!) As if all that were not already bad enough, my stupid bag decided to fly off and hit some guy's feet. Ahhhh why am i such a embarrassment?!? seriously! It was one of those please-dig-a-huge-hole-so-i-can-hide-my-face-in-it-forever situation. xD Also, even at home i have to embarrass myself. For instance, just now i was bragging to my whole family how im better at using the microwave than my sister. mum: how long do i have to put the pao in there? *points to microwave* sister: let it turn for 3 rounds then should be just nice. me: wahaha are you sure you want to trust sis? all the things she puts inside comes out burnt, unlike me. that's why jeffrey always ask me to help him microwave, i use my accurate gut feeling to decide how long to out the food in there. haha and like never wrong de! (: sister: yah yah whatever. mum: haha yah viting's better at such stuff. *hands me pao* me: i think should be ready after 4 to 5 rounds. -at the 3rd round- sister: i think you should seriously take it out now. me: *rolls eyes* if i take out now the inside would still be cold la. -at the 5th round- me: okay! mum: *take pao out* erm, why is it rock hard? sister: *smirks* why not ask the expert viting? Rawr! I should stop embarrassing myself la! Totally destroys my genius image please! Sadness. Stupid microwave, why can't it be more cooperative? The above two incidents should be enough to prove that im down on my luck these days. Yup but sadly it doesn't end there. Thursday was ITB test at 8am and i was determined not to oversleep. I even set three alarm clocks and all. Then guess what?!? Bingo! The next morning, i woke up at 7.35am, having slept through all my three alarms. No idea how i could have been such a pig. LOL. So i dressed in record time and rushed out of the house. At that time, i had three choices. 1)take a cab and hopefully reach there on time. 2)rush and take the train 3)pretend that im sick, get a MC and sit for the retest. Of course i had to make the worst choice out of the three, which is to take a cab. Waited close to 10 minutes for a cab. Finally, i got into one and instead of reaching there on time like i initially hoped, it took longer than the train would have taken. Stupid traffic jam! It was so bad la! Especially along Clementi, we only moved like an inch every minute. $#^%#$*^$!# Poor driver, he had to endure all my complaints along the way. I was like "freaking shit!" "turtle tortoise la!" "what the freaking hell!" hahaha i was never really good at being vulgar. Then i told him the driver that if i were a pregnant lady in labour, by the time i reach SP it'll be time to celebrate my child's birthday. Hahaha sounds so lame to me now. =DD no wonder the driver was laughing lol. Anyway im basically screwed for ITB. It's almost guarantee plus chop will fail with flying colours. Im thinking in terms of single digit below 5 and im not kidding. Im scared that because of this i have to forward module. Ahhh im dead la, my life is ruined. I hate excel, hate it so bad. =( Oh well, bad stuff aside, tomorrow is a 4-4 gathering at sentosa. Yayy im super excited. Hope it doesn't rain so we can all have fun and throw prasannth and jiahao into the sea. Prasannth because it's his birthday and jiahao because...hmm because throwing him in would make my life fulfilled. Man, my life is pathetic. Wahahaha! =D Holidays starts tomorrow! Im psyched! Finally get to rest and play. Still, the holidays should be rather busy because of cruise, projects, work and studying for tests. I do not need a repeat of the ITB incident thank you very much. Saturday, May 24, 2008 I am seriously turning into a glutton. (: No dun get me wrong, im not complaining, i love food. Yup and i especially loveee indulging with my friends. Yesterday i finally met up with them, even gayathri was there! YAYYY! We ate lovely food at Delifrance. The swordfish, potatoes and bread pudding(i stole a couple of bites from gayathri =P) made me happy. Afterwards we went to the starbucks at novena to have drinks and hang out. They started blowing straws and refused to stop until one flew to the feet of this girl at the table next to us. (x So typical, we always manage to do random childish things together. Haha but i love my friends for it, they never fail to make my day. =DD Anyway allow me to digress and post stupid things Jenny just told me. " Men are like bank accounts. Without a lot of money they don't generate a lot of interest. " " I am not a vegetarian because I love animals; I am a vegetarian because I hate plants. " " Isn't your pants' zipper supposed to be in the front? " (this one's really lame) Hahaha every time she tells me one, we would both laugh like crazy. Then i told her my hairs are laughing(adapted from toes are laughing) and we laughed even harder when she FINALLY got it. Then i told her laughing at the jokes makes me seem shallow and she happily told me that i have always been shallow. Thanks eh, much appreciated. xD LOL Anyway back to what happened today. Lyana and I met up for Macdonalds breakfast. Thanks for the treat! Haha then later we shopped at orchard for awhile before we gave up. Realised that window shopping is bad for the heart, shopping without money is so painful. Haha so we ended up eating a pretzel and walking to PS for Japanese food! Whee i love Japanese food. The sashimi+tempura+mackerel was so yummy. I think lyana is currently hooked on the mackerel. Nevermind, let's go there again soon! (: After the japanese food we went for chocolate cake and iced mocha back at causeway point. Our plans for movie and chai tea fell through due to stupid reasons haha. Still, it was a nice day. I did not use my brain at all, lazed around all day. Screw tutorials, i shall complete them tomorrow. My modules proved to be a disappointment so far. 1) I swear im so freaking dead for ITB. 2) CD was so disappointing, i still think the problem lies with the examiner, they misunderstood us. Oh well. 3) Im the only loser in class that does not seem to get PACC at all. 4) Although the sports tourism presentation was alright, i think i screwed up my part. Looks like being impromptu doesn't always work for me. YY and Shufen did well though. (: 5) Lately im starting to not get econs as well. ahhh may some angel descend from wherever and save me! Sunday, May 18, 2008 Sorry for the lack of updates! (: I realised that recently, i have developed this bad habit of being late. Hahaha most of the time it's because of stupid reasons. 1) not bringing wallet and having to go back an take it. 2) leaving my laptop at home while taking wallet and having to turn back again. 3) wasting close to 30 minutes quarreling with brother and another 30 minutes running around cos he tried to murder me! omg that violent boy, he left my toenail broken! 4) falling back asleep everyday because i just could not pull myself up for school. Hahaha these are just some of them, it's complicated. LOL =DDD Oh and we finally had our EC oral thing and the CD presentation. Both were equally lame and i can only hope for the best now. *crosses fingers* hahaha and while im at it, i shall cross my eyes too. Haha i used to love doing that because my mum says it's dangerous and your eyes may get permanently stuck. Oh noo then i will have crossed eyes forever!! Haha but the prospect excites me so i do that all the same. xD Anyway, i think i should stop cos my sister is giving me this are-you-insane look now. ROFLMGOATD!(roll on floor laughing my guts out and teeth dropping) =DDD Okay viting stop this rubbish!(x (but the teeth dropping part is just too funny!) =P Anyway i know this is random but im missing the chocolate"chicken" people! Friday, May 9, 2008 "hey mum please sign this consent form, im going for blood donation tomorrow." "what?!?" "yah my school's having the blood drive" "seriously? no way! what if something happens?" "nothing will happen la" "ohmygod what if they draw too much blood? or afterwards you faint? or maybe you become too weak? i wouldn't let you take this huge risk!" *rolling my eyes* "okay whatever, just sign la" "fine!" Hahaha my mum is such a drama queen. =.="' I was bored while waiting for my turn so i started to eavesdrop on the two guys behind me. They were talking about how their friend donated blood and had a huge scar on arm ever since. Not only that, they talked about how the nurse may have to poke as many as 5 times to look for the correct vein. They got me all worried and i was squirming in my seat the whole time. Well it turned out nothing like what they said. It was actually painless. In fact i could not feel anything at all. (: Yah and there is also no huge scar, just this teeny weeny red dot that is about the size of singapore on the map. Yesterday was fun. School ended really early at 10am, we only had two hours of lessons. :D Afterwards i went to kbox with kiti, angie and liying. Haha liying and kiti sings really well i think. Angie's voice is low when she talks but surprisingly she could reach all the high notes. Then afterwards they went shopping while i went to cityhall. I finally saw samantha and subeer after so long! Akmal was there as well. (: We went to ben and jerrys and pigged out on ice cream. I loveeee chocolate chip cookie dough! Yumm! =D I went to school after ice cream for the primers welcome party. I made a new friend called Hanna, she's from Indonesia. We went home together and i was crapping alot cos i was happy. Hahaha it was nice that she could take all my nonsense. Anyway school is getting better, i think it's just that im getting used to poly life. (: Economics still sucks though. I guess some things never change lol. Still, school is okay because of my friends and the food. I heart foodcourt 6. (: The nuggets and drumlets, chicken rice and my dearest yong tau foo. Monday, May 5, 2008 Friday was so amusing. 1) I did my tutorial for the first time, Principles of Tourism. I solemnly swear that this would not be the last time either. LOL! (: Trust me on this one? 2) Dawn, Luke and slept on the stairs leading to Raffles City while waiting for huda and lyana. 3) We had dinner at Marina Square foodcourt. Haha finally starting on our money saving plan! Lyana spent half the time trying to get me to eat my baby oorn and snowpeas. eww im convinced nobody in the right mind would eat those. 4) Afterwards went to PCC to sleep and occasionally discuss some random stuff. Like whether we should tell each other if one of us ever gets a terminal illness. 5) Took the train to marina bay and back, sleeping all the way. Haha we seriously should stop sleeping everywhere. (: I went to catch VJC's dance concert. It was totally awesome please! Haha i enjoyed it la. (: Next time must invite more people to go see it, super worth it. Oh yah and yesterday i went for SP's netball training. I wanted to just check out how it is like before deciding. There were so many people there, shocking la. Haha and it just made me miss trainings in anderson. How there is always so much laughter and lameness, making all trainings really fun. SP's different, or maybe i just dun know the people well yet. (: Anyway we did the usual, warm ups followed by ball drills and then games. The game was actually quite fun. =D Training ended late though, and i sadly missed most of Healing Hands III. Thursday, May 1, 2008 Trust me, im been meaning to update but usually too lazy. (: Anyway nowadays im starting to check out on my horoscope everyday, actually pretty interesting and relatively true. Well on some days at least. Hahaha most of the time i read mine from facebook. Yup and i also have this new found love for sour plums, been eating tons of those. It's really addictive, especially when you throw in a bunch of them into your mouth at once. You will literally make the >.< face and it's really sour but thrilling too. Okay fine im weird, but my sister does that too! =D Im starting to slowly adapt to poly life, which is pretty alright. Now im fretting about which cca i should join. Haha our school had the cca showcase thing and i saw a few that sounds fun. I dun think i should netball again, the training days and timing sucks. Then again, i love playing and miss the feeling of training hard as a team. Sigh, but no matter how much i weigh the factors and whatever crap, i still cannot decide. That's only for netball, not to mention the thousand other ccas that im still considering too. Oh well. (x Shopping today was torturous because we were broke. You guessed it, my financial status is still as pathetic as last week. My only hope is still striking lottery/winning the 10000 bucks macdonalds delivery. =DD Strangely though, i dun buy lottery nor use macdonalds delivery. Yah so im basically crapping LOL.
