Thursday, August 28, 2008 Finally done with economics, which also marks the end of the examinations and the start of our term break. (:(:(: yay-ness! I managed to complete one whole semester. This year is passing by amazingly fast. For now, I shall not think about how bad the paper is and how pathetic my answer for that monetary policy question is. It is not like we will get back the paper anytime soon anyway. (: celebrated with my classmates just now. I played pool for the first time and it was rather fun. Although it made me feel physically inadequate, like my previous bowling experiences. Okay that sounds really sad but actually it was not that bad, at least I had good teachers. :D and i am currently re-reading the harry potter books. will some kind soul pretty please lend me the Goblet of Fire? (: I will be grateful for five minutes!(eternally will just sound strange lol) Fine, I know five minutes sound even worse haha. well, whatever. Off to bed! signing off, viting
Tuesday, August 26, 2008 I went all the way to school thinking that the economics paper is today. No idea why, I must be out of my mind. Hmm that rhymes, doesn't it? Well, actually i dun really care, it has no significant impact on my life. well, obviously. Still, i hope so. I like things to rhyme, like "fall ball wall tall hall etc etc" and i just realise how pointless this whole conversation is. Yeah conversation, me talking to well, myself. (: Anyway!(before i get more carried away hahaha) In the afternoon, i even went online to check my seat number and confirm the date. Somehow i saw the date as today's date. Scary, some form of optical illusion?!? or maybe i was simply programmed to think the exam is today?!? I believed it so much that the date 'transformed' into today's date when i look at it?!? nevermind, at least i shall have one more day to study. That is, if i ever get down to it, which i highly doubt i will. ): signing off, viting
Thursday, August 21, 2008 Done with the tourism and accounts paper and only economics paper left. (:(: hope i never get the papers back though, especially accounts. Anyway yesterday we went to Holland after exam and talked for many many hours over an earthquake. Haha put lydia, shufen, yeeyen and me together and this always happens. (: Today, I went to Holland and had yet another earthquake. WeiJie nearly killed me for ordering four scoops of lime sherbet, two scoops of orange sherbet and another two scoops of butterscotch. They are my favourite! It's just too bad that he happened to like mint, which is my least favourite swensens ice cream flavour. :DD signing off, viting
Monday, August 18, 2008 I am awfully proud that Singapore managed to achieve a silver medal in the Olympics!(:(: We kept screaming throughout all the matches. When Singapore gains a point, scream. When China gains a point, also scream. Meanwhile, dad kept making pointless remarks about how Singapore cannot win and how our players are not Singaporeans anyway. The rest of us ignored him, annoying really. =.= Ahh! Tourism paper is tomorrow! I have written notes for all the chapters and drawn beautiful mind maps so everything should be under control right? Hmm actually there's just this teeny weeny problem.(okay fine, HUGE problem) Everything is done out properly but nothing actually entered my brain. Yes, nothing in my enormous-but-unfortunately-rather-empty-except-for-random-nonsense brain. Help! signing off, viting
Thursday, August 14, 2008 I have recently taken a liking to chives(!!!) and chicken dumplings and i polished off one whole tray while studying a grand total of one page of tourism lecture notes. Then quarreled with Jeffrey because he simple refused to let me eat more. Not even one, which is like really mean because i clearly remember mum telling me that i can have as many as i like. Oh well. My dad claimed that im neglecting the family. Fact is, i am not interested in discussing my dad's friend's affairs/gorging on rambutans/listening to my brother while he brags about his math test, which he passed, for the first time since humans discovered fire. haha. okay fine after this i shall go watch Olympics with them. That would definately be interesting. I actually find Olympics really addictive to watch. especially gymnastics and swimming. (: and i am super screwed. so much for all that "i've learnt my lesson" and "once bitten, twice shy" empty talk. I am still, sad to say, a procrastinator. This is already the sixth day of study break and what have i studied? practically nothing. Okay unless you count the three sets of tourism lectures notes. well, at least that's a start and besides, there is still time. (:(: Eh i am being awfully optimistic. or you could say, in total self denial. There's still time? Who am i kidding? hahaha instead of spending this study break studying, i spent most of the time slacking or watching tv or reading or going out. -hangs head in remorse- LOL nevermind, i shall go start now. this very moment, before i change my mind. =DD ahh then what about Olympics?!? fine i shall go pluck flower petals and leave it to fate.(kidding) CHEERS! Friday, August 8, 2008 ![]() Random happenings this week: 1)Frontpage and community involvement projects are finally history. now all i can do is wish really hard for good marks. (: 2)Played badminton for around three hours without stopping because it got really addictive. 3)Nearly died laughing at Benedict(my brother's friend) after I accidentally on purpose(oops!) overheard their silly conversation. Benedict exclaimed that he loves rock-climbing and playing badminton. "But of course not at the same time!" Then with a loud guffaw, he clutched his sides."That would be dangerous wouldn't it?" Eh Benedict...nice attempt i would say, but better try next time. LOL 4)Decided to control the bottles of milk tea I drink every week. Both to reduce the risk of diabetes and having to resort to borrowing from loan sharks to sustain this addiction. seriously, they are $2.45 a bottle and no, they are not gold-plated/decorated with diamonds. 5)Cooked the nicest noodles ever, according to my family. well, with an exception of my brother. (why am I not surprised) 6)Still loving fated to love you.(: The show's getting increasingly interesting and touching. 7)It's already study break next week. Why does time pass so fast? strange. 8)Made the most awesome discovery since bubble tea: NOON will be the same upside down and backwards. =DD 9)Realised that vitagen collagen is nicer then the normal old vitagen, especially the elderflower one. 10)Found an ant in my apple. how's that even possible? hmm I really hope my eye bags will be cooperative and make themselves disappear. Haha okay okay i think i shall sleep early then. because it would be unfair to not put in any effort and expect them to simply go away by themselves, that wouldn't be fair would it? Saturday, August 2, 2008 I am totally hooked on fated to love you. No surprise there, this always happens to me when i start watching a drama. Im mentally prepared to spend the next few weeks in front of the computer like some addict, watching series after series. Hahaha i can imagine how i would look like the next few days. Red and puffy eyes completed with dark eye rings, courtesy of the drama. (: but at least this time the male lead is not mingdao, if not the situation would be worse. very much worse lol. (: I love the replaying in my mind the part where xinyi and her dad are under the tree and all that he told her then. and the part where cunxi and xinyi danced together. It was all really sweet and he was so cute then. LOL okay i shall not start gushing. Anyway, HAPPY BIRTHDAY LYANA! wheee it's purple, your favourite colour(i think). This shade is rather weird though, but in a nice way(i think). =DDD ![]() Haha the picture is slightly blurred, it makes me eyes look really far apart. I think episode 6 should be fully loaded by now. Goodbye world. (: signing off, viting
