Tuesday, March 31, 2009 I am sick the whole of today. ended up not being able to make it for weijie's housewarming. could not meet lyana and huda too. instead, I spent the whole day lying on my bed like an invalid, occasionally racing to the toilet to puke. I think I am dying, soon. sigh life sucks so bad sometimes. signing off, viting
Monday, March 30, 2009 my brother is such a irritating bootlicker, he sticks around my mum all day flattering her. gosh cannot stand it, annoying the hell out of me. seriously, he practically worships the ground she walks on. honestly it does not bother me the least, as long as he shuts the door when he starts gushing about how she is the most wonderful person on earth. normally it is just trivial stuff so I shut one eye. but it is evidently getting worse. and nowadays he starts to drag innocent me into issues and ask for me to contribute my two cents. well then dun blame me for being honest and maybe slightly tactless. my mum also, openly enjoying all the compliments. not so much as an effort to stop my brother. even got mad at me for attempting to wake her up from her cheap thrills. I can totally imagine him ten years down the road, doing the same thing to his employers. rawr. yah whatever, ignore my good efforts. flatter your way through life. like I care. okay viting, forget it! suan le! oubliez-le! それを忘れなさい! HAHAHAHAHA lame I just typed forget it in four languages. and no I dun take french, neither do I learn japanese. for your information there is such a thing is an online language translator. thank you very much. lovely creation I must say. haha because the last time I translated something from english to french on my blog, somebody commented, "cool, you take french as a third language" well, I dun, but dawn does! :D and it sounds quite interesting, maybe I should try taking next time for the fun of it. and yayness! I am finally done watching wo de yi wan mian bao. it only has twelve episodes, very short and actually not that nice. haha but I dun like starting a show and not completing it so yup. lesson learnt from the show is that money is not everything, and definitely not more important than a compassionate heart. "有钱不是一切。一个人最重要的是一颗善良的心。" :DD yah im sure. guess this is why dramas will always be dramas, different from reality. also why I like watching them, can indulge in a world with less flaws and more miracles. speaking of miracles, I want to experience a miracle! sounds very exciting. haha but how do I go about experiencing one? hmm. I know all the helpful souls out there will start suggesting I jump into pacific ocean without so much as a life vest and hope there is a miracle and survive. or murder someone on the streets of orchard road and not get caught. tadaaa! miracle! then all the while silently gloating and swelling with proud over their simply fantastic sense of humor. haha thus I shall prepare early. to every such suggestion, why not you guys try it first? if you survive, I'll do it. :D eh but I still wish to experience a real miracle. at least once in my life. :DD also, last night I watched the wig. rachel claims that it is not a scary ghost movie at all but it still kinda freaked me out. afterall, I watched it alone! when my whole family was sleeping! and outside was storming with occasional lightning! okay I am getting carried away, the weather was fine. but still, I watched it alone at night. and I hate that bedroom scene where the girl rolled around the room screaming in pain. and the one with her head in the sink and her eyes rolled towards her forehead. gruesome eww! total vomit material! but it was a depressing movie at the same time, about people suffering from cancer. it scares me more than the ghost part. alright, I shall stop soon and continue my nancy drew series. haha seriously addictive so I went to borrow more, including a three-in-one classic collection. and it is useful too, distracts me from online shopping. :D lalalalalalalala~ stupid bank account. signing off, viting
Friday, March 27, 2009 yay yay yayyy I am back from my four days in genting. and it was truckloads of fun while it lasted, but it is wonderful to be back. :D I could finally get a good rest. the first thing I did when I got home was crash on the sofa. then my mum dragged me to my bed where I slept till noon the next day. brilliant! anyway I am back to blog with stolen pictures from random people. I did bring my camera along, but was too lazy to take it out and thus captured zero pictures. on day one, we arrived around noon and went to out hotel rooms to rest. our room was super cool, joined with the room of liying and angie by one door. we kept the door opened throughout, so it was as though we had a much more spacious room. anyway below are some pictures I took from yeeyen, taken in our hotel rooms.   afterwards we explored the place and had an early night in preparation for our awesome theme park day on day two. yup so on the second day we bought tickets to the combined indoor and outdoor theme park and played the whole day. It was super fun, we sat on almost all the rides and so many times on some that I think the staff are tired of our faces.   haha we took this ride for just about a million and two times.  the unforgettable teacup. I took this twice, once with them and another with clarence and boey. both times I nearly died. but hey, it was super fun.  here is some of us waiting to go onto the spaceshot. love this ride. took many fun rides and many stupid rides as well. haha but when awesome people take them together, even the stupidest of rides can be sorta fun. so just like that, the second day was a blast! I shall just post these few pictures, too lazy anyway. haha already very good okay! one of the rare times I even bother to post pictures. anyway on the third day, we took a van down to this mushroom farm place that surprise surprise, did not only have mushrooms. haha in fact it was a food paradise, we ordered quite a spread of yummy dishes. too bad I was slightly sick and could not enjoy them properly. stupid ulcers and nose block and sore throat yada yada. gosh I hate being sick, genting would be even more fun if I did not have so many stupid problems. anyway , pictures! yeeyen just uploaded them so i decided to put some up.  under mushroom at mushroom farm  after the food, we went back and went bowling. super fun, though admittedly, I was not very good at it. haha but at least I improved, my skills previously was much worse, just ask my friends. :D later, we also went to ripleys believe it or not, some museum place displaying many amazing facts. it was way cool and I love it. <3 however, the haunted house we went to after that was not as fun as expected. haha not that scary, but at some parts the ghosts were quite ugly and freaked us out when they jump right out. after dinner, some of us went to the arcade and it was fun as well. all of us caught a midnight movie together. race to witch mountain or was it race to the witch mountain or something. that turned out pretty nice as well, although I was freezing in the cinema. after the movie, we finally went back to sleep. so four days passed just like that.   see! genting is actually really pretty, although old. :D we had so much fun but all good things come to an end eventually. :DD speaking of good things coming to an end, our holidays are going to end soon as well. sad but true, but then again, good things end for us to embrace even better things. :D right, whatever. shall go read my nancy drew now. cheers! signing off, viting

Thursday, March 19, 2009 spent a splendid day out with hannah today. :D we went town and caught a movie before shopping. watched PUSH and it turned out pretty average I guess, not bad. after the movie we just walked around and saw many pretty stuff. I have like this love-hate relationship with pretty things because it is frustrating when my heart gravitate towards them but the rational side of me knows that my bank account is well, depleted. but nevermind, hannah bought quite a few pretty stuff so at least I can by surrounded by nice things. almost makes up for not owning them myself. :DD yay and dinner was yummy. seriously falling in love with tom yam hahaha, never used to like them because did not feel game enough for spicy food. but tom yam is extremely addictive. :D not going wild wild wet this saturday anymore, have been postponed. because apparently this saturday is some corporate family day thing and the place is closed. shall go another time then! saturday can pack my luggage for genting. now I shall go help my sister design her project powerpoint slides because she has another two essays to complete by tomorrow. :D why am I such a nice sister? :DD off! signing off, viting
Wednesday, March 18, 2009 yesterday lengchee and I went shopping at bugis and now we are both kinda broke. yup but we did snap up a couple of good deals. then went for dinner at causeway point and had nice hawker food. haha we were totally like gluttons, we bought a few dishes and shared. but it's actually a good idea, should do that more often. (: did not watch a movie in the end because we figured we could watch them in genting. speaking of genting, three more days! whee, im excited. and we got our results last night but I wanted to sleep peacefully so I did not check, purposely waited till today. thank my lucky stars, I passed everything. thought there was a risk of failing statistics and accounting. haha but my GPA is still not ideal, going to work doubly hard next term. :D alright for the rest of today I shall stay home and clean my wardrobe and desk. my mum would be so happy. well, just how do I even start? signing off, viting
Sunday, March 15, 2009 did not end up going for the wedding dinner after all. I had a fever and puked twice. my first fever in two years! but I am much better now, after sleeping for the whole afternoon. :D eh the culprit must be those bars of chocolate and the packet of double coated chocolate timtams and the lovely durian cake. they were really yummy though. :DD signing off, viting
Marley and Me turned out to be a nice movie, rather touching and very heartwarming. haha rachel cried like nobody's business and used up two packets of my tissues. then afterwards weijie and I had a good laugh at her swollen eyes. haha goldfish! and yay I brought them to eat the super yummy korean food which shufen and yeeyen introduced to me. I think I really am coping better with spicy food, and starting to enjoy them too! am still prejudiced against chilli sauce though. anyway we were happily chatting when I realized it is saturday and I have to watch my channel U. haha so we ended up going home earlier instead of having an earthquake. never mind, you guys should thank me, can save money! :D and my laptop is failing me. it keeps blanking out for no reason and is super annoying plus worrying. and and, I am going to a wedding dinner tomorrow! my mother's friend's daughter, and our whole family is invited. the bride is only 19 by the way, shotgun marriage. yup so im excited to see how she looks like, and whether the guy is even cute. shall update you guys! off to bed! :DD signing off, viting
Wednesday, March 11, 2009 100 zhong shen huo yay this is a lovely song, go listen to it okay! :D anyway the past few days have been fun too. on monday I went out with sister because she did not have school and I still owe her a treat. haha from her birthday which was five months ago. :D we went to bugis and had lunch at the soup spoon followed by shopping. super fun but my bank account suffered. haha then for dinner I treated her to fish and co, the both of us managed to polish off a family feast completed with soup and drinks. that seriously depleted my bank account but never mind, at least I dun owe her a treat anymore. :D tuesday was spent lazing around at home. I started watching Pi Li MIT and wo de yi wan mian bao. while waiting for them to load, I watched huang jing lun on xin guang da dao and he is super cute. also visited the library with my brother and then treated him to gelare. see! why am I such a nice person? LOL today I went out with dawn!(:(:(: haha we went walking around town and had nice food. discovered that the black sesame ice cream from pepper lunch is actually really yummy. ahh craving for it now, but I will make do with my tub of king's vanilla ice cream. whee shall go eat it after this. :D anyway we tried to look for a job at kinokuniya but got rejected because they are only looking for long-term staff so too bad, we shall continue to slack the holidays away! hahaha and we still did not manage to find that cutest guy on the planet according to lyana/huda/sam, neither did I take a good look at the handsome toy shop guy. but later I did show dawn the picture of brent porno chua and he looks as weird as ever. :D haha at least this time round he is not naked. thank god. :D okay, inside joke. :DD alright, shall go eat my ice creammmm now! hoorayyy! signing off, viting
Sunday, March 8, 2009 eww gross! the whole tub of melted ice cream toppled in my bag just now! the bag is dumped in a bucket of soapy water now, trying to see if I can rescue it. :D hahaha dramatic I know, I was cycling home from the supermarket and then my bag FLEW OUT of my bicycle basket IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD and somehow I dun know how on earth THE CAP OF THE ICE CREAM CAME OFF and some ice cream got into my bag. okay, not the whole tub, I was exaggerating. :D and guess what! I am heading down to fish and co later. they asked me to go help out tonight because they are short of staff. haha so I shall go and lame around, hopefully I still remember how things work. ages since I have last gone back, hopefully not awkward or strange! :DD am going to miss wu ling da dao and se diao ying xiong zhuan tonight! ) : signing off, viting
yup so what have I been up to the past few days? haha still lazing around and enjoying my holidays, but I really should get a job. :D after all, I could almost feel myself being a burden to the society already! but in the midst of becoming a burden, I did enjoy myself. :D on wednesday we went to shufen's house to swim! the weather was miraculously good and we swam a little, mostly just splashing around and then went to relax in the jacuzzi. mighty sun, burnt lydia and lengchee. but I dun feel much difference, the sun does not have much effect on me, which is bad, it means my skin is slowly damaging underneath with me being totally oblivious. joking, I dun think so, probably not anyway. :D I spent thursday at home doing quite abit of art! haha bet you guys never knew your dear genius friend, yours truly, has artistic talent! :DD hmm maybe not quite, but I enjoy putting my close to non existent artistic flair but loads of creativity to good use. :D came up with a college, little cards and cute drawings. too bad I cannot show you guys the pictures, too lazy to take and upload them. no problem! simply imagine the works of say, vincent van gogh, and you can roughly picture how they look like. hahaha kidding, dun want to make him turn in his grave. Is he even dead? see! I am hopeless. :D yesterday I went out with lynn and xl after ten million years. we went to jurong point to buy a birthday present for lynn's sister at artbox. went crazy and we made her blow close to fifty bucks there. haha cos she bought a huge stuffed toy, which is wayyy better than a small one because you can hug/punch/use as cushion for a big one. :D and yay we finally had a chance to meet up! made use of this chance to catch up with our lives and gossiped over tea, which turned into dinner and then supper. and today lydia, lengchee and I went to watch slumdog millionaire! haha I love the movie! :D the host of "who wants to be a millionaire" in the movie is totally hannah's type wahaha. always knew she had a soft spot for guys like that. :D anyway! after the movie we hung out till late before heading home. yup and since then I have been watching television. but now, I shall continue watching videos online, no geo challenge today! love being able to sleep in.(:(:(: signing off, viting
Tuesday, March 3, 2009 the weather these few days have been quite bad. cloudy and sudden bursts of rain, sometimes scary thunderstorms too. my brother has been screaming a lot at home these few days, whenever there is lightning, he screams. whenever there is thunder, he screams. he is afraid of them, wahaha so much for being a fearless boy. but the bad weather prevented me from going to sentosa today with the rest, sorry! hardly much fun hiding under umbrellas on the beach and trying not to let the wet sand stick on me, is it? yup but today was still nice, I went shopping with Jenny and Yvonne. spent a bomb on food and shopping. looks like my saving plan is down the drain, even before it started. but nevermind, I am happy. :D oh and I just received an email from modparade. I bought a dress from the site just now, left a comment within 15 minutes of their launch but still did not manage to secure a piece. wow scary, I conclude that this must be fate! even fate is helping me to save money. haha but too bad, I really kinda like it. anyway! haha yesterday I spent the entire afternoon in the library alternating between reading and playing geo challenge on my laptop. but im still bad a geo challenge, very bad at identifying countries on the map. then later mum came and joined me and we went to the supermarket and bought tons of food. yay! we bought one huge trolley! and it was too much for us to carry so I had this brilliant idea to push the whole trolley home and then push it back again later. mum: what? cannot lah, so embarrassing! me: oh but no choice what! mum: huh, but later must push back some more, I no strength. me: okay then, I push back. mum: really? okay! see! she obviously just wants me to push it back to the supermarket! which I did in the end. :D and since yesterday I have polished off a bag of jumbo chips, half a tub of ice cream, a bar of chocolate, chocolate and caramel pudding and half a packet of honey stars. what the hell, eating in front of the television is bad cos you cannot keep track of how much you eat. so yup! must be healthy! eat less junk food. :DD okay my arms and neck hurt, cos I typed the whole thing propped up on my elbows. so I shall stop. going swimming at shufen's house tomorrow. :D hope i can wake up. :D signing off, viting
