Wednesday, May 27, 2009 whee! here to post about the batam trip. came back on saturday but was too lazy thus procrastinated till now, but better late than never! (:(:(: and this post will be with photos, all courtesy of yeeyen. haha because lydia liao is simply too lazy(worse than me) and she has yet to post the pictures from her camera up on facebook after ten million and one years. :D but nevermind, i am too lazy to upload so many pictures anyway! below are a few random ones. :D alright to sum everything up, batam was all about eating/sleeping during lectures/fun. haha although lessons were downright boring like majority of the time, which is more or less expected because fun lessons are like flying elephants. no such thing. but lessons aside, I enjoyed myself. after everything ends at night, my classmates and I would either go play by the pool, conduct our bridge-ing sessions or simply rest at our apartments. something worth mentioning is that my apartment has a television which has channel u and channel 8, haha so I was zi-highing about it when I first realised. although eventually we did not have much spare time to watch shows anyway, but better than nothing. :D one night we also went down to the bar and this guy from 06 showed us amazing card tricks which entertained us to no end. :D his tricks are like damn cool, those kind that you think you can only see on television. the food at batam was always nice too, especially the barbecue nights. super yummy I tell you, craving for the satay and chicken now. :D and the omelettes at breakfast, prepared on the spot by the chef. and they have honey stars! haha at least nobody fights with me over honey stars there, unlike here. stupid Jeffrey. =.= lunch and dinner were all buffet spreads and most of the items were good. :D I feel closer to some of my classmates after this trip too, cos more chance to play and bond. like weiling for example, she stayed at out apartment for this trip and she's cool. :D and now at least I know more people from 05 and 06 than before. as in, not buddy buddy kinda close but at least I know their names. haha improvement okay! yup I have more or less sum up everything about this trip. yay below are the pictures!  cannot blame him, lectures are simply too boring. see! more evidence of boring lectures. haha their sian faces. so shufen decided to entertain us! haha sorry dun mean to post this up but too funny! :P the girl next to me with the pretty top is halimah and the one on my left is jo. they are our servers during the role play and they were damn good. (: I like this picture! (: pretty view of turi beach. haha see those tables? we had one of our barbecue nights there. (: us after a swim, looking deranged/possessed. oops! our class on the gala night! (: us with the birthday boy. me trying to act tall, as usual wahaha. DTRM 07! (: yay we rock. clarence went madly generous and bought this bottle of wine to celebrate yeechuan's birthday. so cheers to life! friendship! a wonderful class! lousy GPA! whee! whatever lalala. haha forgot who came up with this lame idea to put the napkins on out heads, of all places. but this is one of our lame moments, we are mostly mature. thank you very much. jumping into the pool! haha we had to do this numerous times and this is one of the more successful pictures. I like this picture, love the background. (:alrighty, this is all for now. will upload more pictures when I get my hands on them and if I am not too lazy. :D off to watch my show! bai quan nu wang! haha I cannot stand it seriously, how come such a cute guy like ruan jing tian exist. and the show itself is pretty nice so yeah, I am totally hooked. if you guys have yet to watch it, time to start! cheers! signing off, viting

Tuesday, May 12, 2009 Time for an update! (:(:(: millions of happenings since I last blogged, of which I mostly cannot recall. haha all I remember is that life is generally pretty awesome and relaxed. how could it not be, with us having to go to school only four times a week and me only only twice. on the other hand it worries me, seeing many of my friends studying and busy with school while all I do is play all the time. but whatever, I am happy. :D on wednesday I went shopping with rachel. :D we combed the streets of orchard and bugis for her dress. at last we chose this really gorgeous one, and very flattering on her too. :D then weijie, jenny and eric joined us and we went to tian tian huo guo for super yummy steamboat. their soup base is absolutely delightful, especially the fish head one. we ate like gluttons, polished off plates after plates of food. whee then chatted till late before going back. sunday was my cousin's wedding! :D in the afternoon we went to marriott for the buffet high tea, which turned out fine. saw many relatives but it was my paternal side and we are generally less close. haha but I just kept smiling and saying hi, trying to appear friendly. yup then I had to go off for work and joined their back at night. my cousin was so pretty that night! all women are indeed the prettiest on their wedding day, love her dress! :D and the guy seems nice enough. though he calls me "huay ting" instead of "hui ting" despite me correcting him just about ten times. at last I gave up, does not really matter. :D we also had a dance party after everything. fun but tiring day, crashed at the end of it. yesterday some of my classmates and I went cycling at east coast park. in the afternoon we tried to teach some how to cycle and it was not bad, made some progress. :D but the real bit started after dinner. we cycled all the way down to changi village to eat and rest before cycling all the way back again. on the way there, raimi fell head-first into some bushes wahaha. I jumped off my bike a couple of times, only way to get off cos seat was too high. haha pity my bicycle, tough luck getting me. anyway we also stopped for bridge along the way and talking sessions. it was fun la, but super tiring. ended up sleeping once I get home at 9am all the way to 4pm to watch show. and i want to watch bai quan nu wang, shi tian says it's nice! :D and amazing race, because jenny keeps pestering me to watch it every three minutes haha. :D right, such a lengthy and wordy update! shall post up some pictures of the wedding when I am less lazy! goodnight! signing off, viting
Monday, May 4, 2009  HAPPY BIRTHDAY HANNAH! (:(:(: before I start, remind me that I should start taking more photos of us at least. although I am not much of a "yay let's take pictures together!" kinda person, but being friends for ten million years and not being able to find a decent photo to post up is just pathetic. haha searched though chocolatecock/camera/computer and managed to dig out this random one, being a genius as I always am. one when I still have my sorta long hair, which is wayyyy long ago. :D so this birthday post of mine starts with wishing you a happy birthday once again and hope you like the present. I know you have yet to receive it la, cos your genius friend forget to bring it. wahaha but we could always you know, pretend. :D like how we always pretend to be rich, blonde, have millionaires as husbands and a bunch of others nonsensical stuff. still remember many years ago although we were in council and netball together, we were not that close. haha you were just this random girl who has hair like rapunzel and short like a drawf in snow white. but you have grown since! (so proud of you, although i am still taller than you haha in my dreams but i dun care) and you have rather short-ish hair now! another difference is that we are much closer, in fact very close now. :D kudos to winisuksa! on the trip we hit off super well, like we were friends since a long time ago. amazing how, even up till now, we can share the similar bad habits like gossiping and like online shopping. also, sometimes we can even be kinda telepathic in a weird way. of course, we have our differences too, like how you dun seem to ever find ming dao cute. yup but whatever it is, I know we will always be cool friends and no matter what, we can always share stuff with each other without having to worry about being judged or anything. be it juicy gossips or thoughts or worries or whatever! :D alright, shall end here because I want to sleep. wish you a great year ahead being eighteen and all the best for alevels! and not forgetting our plan to open our own chain of shops/buy a bungalow/travel the world/bust our credit cards and I just thought of a new one, eat escargots! :DD P.S. this post is late but it's the thought that counts anw! :D and, before I forget, HAPPY BIRTHDAY JEROME! hope you like the present all of us got for you! haha we did not know what you like but steven says you can never go wrong with a shirt, hence the pretty tee. :D over the weekends, thanks to some of my classmates, I learnt a teeny weeny bit of mahjong. my aunt will be so proud of me seriously. :D haha I shall try my best to remember all the rules and stuff, damn complicated. on a random note, I cannot wait for my sister's exams to end so that she can start talking to me again. I have been ignored around the house nowadays, and my parents are still in malaysia! although I like quiet and freedom and being left alone to think, but it gets kinda strange after awhile. nobody to do stupid stuff with me! haha anyway my sis la, she decided to stop talking altogether and bury herself in that pile of notes day and night. so may all exams end and on another random note, may swine flu never hit singapore. :D This is a damn long and wordy post! signing off, viting
